Yes, K4GVO in Fayetteville who has been a ham since 1958. I found my 
novice license the other day.  :) 100% Linux.  I toy with the digital 
modes and have used a Rpi for logging at Field Day plus running fldigi 
and other apps.  I suggest you review KM4ACK's youtube channel.

describes using a RPi  loaded with ham radio applications.  Even if 
you're not running a Pi you can get a flavor of the apps that work well 
on Linux.  One of the early videos is

He adds to the build in later videos.  If you're not following him, you 
might consider it.  He talks about lots of amateur radio topics.

There is also a groups.io channel https://groups.io/g/linuxham There is 
a lot of digital (fldigi) discussion there.
