[ale] Multiple different audio output streams

If you need this ability in general and not just for this one specific task
...

Jack is designed for this kind of thing: You can hook up audio sources,
processors, and sinks in all kinds of graphs.

It's often difficult to wrest control of the sound system from PulseAudio
or to convince it to cooperate with other software, but once you do it, you
can use (e.g.) qjackctl to configure and start Jack, and then (e.g.)
Claudia to hook things together.

Not everybody needs Jack, but many people use it.
