[ale] lite linux, bodhi vs LXLE vs Puppy, trying to revive old machine

I would say it again Antix Linux https://antixlinux.com/. Debian based with
conventional init light enough to work with single core Celeron from ages
ago. Has 32 and 64 bit flavors. I'm using as of now for about a three
months. Has bit of quirks but it is useful desktop distro. They just
released version 19.

Puppy Linux used to be light and snappy. Now the new versions use the
packages either from ubuntu or slackware which is convenient but the boot
time is a hog on old hardware. At least the first boot. I'm still using it
as live CD when I have to use PC on emergency and prefer older versions.

One very particular distro is Slitaz. Light and with own package system. I
never installed it as desktop but as live CD is a blast.
