[ale] CPU recommendations

I've used Nvidia GPUs and AMD processors for years. Never had a problem.
I built a ryzen system earlier this year on the cheap. Mb/ram/CPU < 500. I
could have gone cheaper, but I wanted 8 cores and some future proofing.
