[ale] State of play re home Internet with static IP

I have Comcast business, I am not following the 1 static ip, are they only
offering one? That crazy, I have 5 for some years now.

AT & T here in the sticks sucks they only offer fiber to the curb, they are
so slow to upgrade to a  1 gig, but the fact they F'ed me over years ago,
never again. Jim is right, if you run linux you have to be own, but hey I
run a mini data center so I am good.

AT & T will lie to get your money and not give a damn about what they
offer. The true snake oil salesmen of the 22nd Century. Once they bought
DirecTV I dropped them because the service that was one awesome over night
die.
