[rant on]There ought to be a law about using acronyms and abbreviations requiring folks to spell it out on the first use rather than assume everyone knows it especially for news organizations.
Maybe in the UK most folks know NHS is National Health Service like many Americans know CDC is Centers for Disease Control but why make the assumption. Here in the US NHS = National Honor Society and probably various other things. Is it really that hard to spell it out once? WHO knows what kind of trouble misused acronyms might cause.[/rant off]

When they need paid support, the 100M/yr currently paid to MSFT will go a long way towards hiring small teams to tackle whatever issue might arise.
