Yes, start with the lowest numbered slots as mentioned above 0 or 1 as the
case may be, but the like colored slots should be labeled 0A and 0B or 1A
and 1B and 2A and 2B, and so forth. Most motherboards can work with a
single memory module installed and in a single CPU motherboard, it probably
won't matter which color slots you use, but in order to benefit from the
dual channel nature (and thus best memory performance) of the motherboard,
put the modules in like colored slots.
