[ale] OT: but PC related

I got my first xt by paying $50 to guy who had a dead one.
I found the dead chip by sniffing the motherboard until I smelled something burnt. Found a chip with a hairline crack in it, replaced, and got a working machine.
Gotta keep that smoke in the chips for sure...
