[ale] Question on Touch Screen

I'm running opensuse on a touch screen notebook I just got.
It works, but the only time I notice it is when I actually touch the screen by accident.
I would have got it without the touch if it had been an option.

Have you tried SUSE Studio? Need to create a Live CD,  an app you want
to package and distribute , or create your own linux distro. Give SUSE
Studio a try.
