[ale] Failing external drive. Planning to DD the failing drive to new external drive. Help please

Ddrescue runs dd in a rescue mode. It scavenges every block off the drive
it can. Even if it's been marked as unusable by the drive. It's good to use
if you have missing files on a failed drive.
