I would say that would be a probable no.
You would need a hardware adapter that I would hazard cost a lot more than most computers you'd have around a house or small office.
These probably would only be useful to someone as spares or to expand existing, probably borderline obsolete FC storage.
I like Kinney's idea, though you'd need a pretty heft launcher to get any distance.

Have you tried SUSE Studio? Need to create a Live CD,  an app you want
to package and distribute , or create your own linux distro. Give SUSE
Studio a try.
