I am finding errors in my previous copies off cameras

cfowler at cfowler-desktop:~/ARCHIVE/Pictures$ ls -l 
Process/01152012/IMAG0292.jpg
-rw-r--r-- 1 cfowler cfowler 858725 Nov 23  2011 
Process/01152012/IMAG0292.jpg

I labeled the year as 2012 where stat and the date shows 2011.'
I copied off camera in Jan/12.

I'm now running a perl script I wrote to copy images into 
Y/Month_name/Filename

I'm going to do this for all my picture disks then back it up.
