[ale] OT: scsi cables

It's possible that it really is SCSI but mixed in with other stuff on
their interface card but I can't seem to find anything about it.  Every
search I run people talk about the cable being "SCSI" but that doesn't
really tell me what the card is doing.  The Digi001 card does happen to
have fiber optic ports on it so it may very well be a hybrid card.
Information is just too sparse to figure it out but my guess, given that
all power is supplied through the cable, is that it's probably not SCSI
at all.  The SCSI specification only ever allowed bus power to operate a
terminator never an actual device.  Eight preamps and optical drivers
would require much more than the bus could supply.
