[ale] Why is RAM is so expensive?!? Anyone know an inexpensive source?

FTR, I was wrong. The 16GB (2x8G) from Crucial is $740, not $400.
Sorry, I was off by nearly 50%..

The system takes DDR2-667 (PC2-5300) ECC Registered SDRAM.

Newegg only seems to have a few options for this type of RAM, but the
largest sticks they have are 4GB sticks: Kingston at $130, or Crucial at
$244 for a pair (8GB). Strangely, Crucial's price for that same 2x4GB
is $300.
