[ale] OT if you must use windows, upgrade to windows 7, not 8, within a year

Have you tried Hacker's Keyboard? That's what I use on my 10" tablet, and while I wouldn't type out anything lengthy on it, I can use it for chat for an extended period of time, and it's relatively comfortable to do so.

I couldn't see using my 10" android tablet for any length of time without the add on bt keyboard. The keyboard tremendously increases the utility. (Typing this on screen is PAINFULLY SLOW.) Touch controls are handy and usable enough for this type of device. (Too many words, reverting to using the keyboard.) Cleaning fingerprints off is a bother, but not insanely so. HOWEVER, I have NO desire to touch my 15" laptop screen, and go to great pains to avoid doing so. It's too much bother to clean and reposition the screen. My desktop monitors have a matte finish, which I prefer. But that makes it even harder to get smudges off.

Sincerely,

Ron
