When I was a kid, (18) I did carnival for a summer. They loved me, cause not only could I fix rides, I could fix the game electronics. (Most were older than I am) I remember pulling into a lot that had a radio shack in it, I went in there, and spent about an hour with their catalog, ordering parts that they didn't stock. Surprisingly though they had more parts than I had to order, so just put off stuff for a few days anyways.

All well and good as long as they buy you all new machines every 5 or ten
years. Trying to maintain 20 - 30 or ever 40 year old machines and they will
learn to take what ever you can find. And I am not kidding about 40 years.
My most recent former job had a main (what we did) machine from the mid
sixties and an ancillary one from 1957!
And yes, this list is an awesome resource at times.
