I have a few functional PPC Mac systems that I, too, would like to keep
serviceable for a while longer. FaceBorg and Google both give
notifications
of my "outdated" browser, but they both still work; only noticed point
of site
fail so far is that the Guitar Center site breaks on redirect to the
cloud for
product info.

FLASH is the big rake-over though.
Youtube complains but plays. I have to download Ted talks if I want
to see them (I use Mpeg Streamclip, a free utility from
www.squared5.com,
to play FLV. Wish they had a Linux version...). Embedded videos in
FaceBorg were the first to fail.

Oddly all the common pron sites have continued to work without
any issues. ;-)

I have recently installed a hacked version of Flash player that I'm
guessing spoofs the ID string to report a newer version. Embedded
FaceBorg will play now. "Ted" tries to load the video, but never
actually starts playing, but again, they provide a ready DL option.
Youtube stopped complaining as much.
