Oh, yeah, that's correct...

Yeah, back in the dark early days of the Internet, it use to be common
practice to use 1.1.1.1 and 1.2.3.4 has example addresses as well.  This
was common in a lot of old Sun documentation.  When they turned up the
1/8 network, APNIC tried to see what would happen if they routed those
two blocks...  Yeah, those are pretty badly radioactive.  And that was
YEARS ago.
