Chrysler started using computers in 1976. They were hybrid digital/analog.

As a consultant for E-Virotronics I reverse engineered Lean Burn computers so they could be remanufactured (I still have a schematic for one of the Lean Burn computers). I also reverse engineered one of the Ford computers (A2 I think).
