That's actually a relatively complex flapping motion. Two joints is
one more than most ornithopters have, and a lot more efficient. I've
flown a lot of products from http://flappingflight.com/ in the past,
and they are simple single-jointed wings. They fly pretty well, and
are quite a sight to see. Not especially efficient, though.
