[ale] Kernel crash

Thanks, guys.  We have since scrapped that system and built a smaller box
that is running Untangle to act as our gateway.  So far, it has been great.
 VPN connectivity is really good and stable.  Plus, it is just plain
flexible.  Despite all the naysayers, this is one of those times that I get
a warm and fuzzy feeling from sticking with open source.
