I know exactly what you mean. Back when I made the switch to 9.10 I ran
into problems right away that I spent two months working on. After
trying nearly everything under the sun I could find online; and learning
a ton of new stuff (which is always good!) I did finally get a work
around but hit other snags that threw me off that distro for that box.
A switch to Fedora solved all of those problems and I have been a happy
users since.
