[ale] [OT] mail issue

Clients: Some clients only view plain ASCII text email. Others allow
"simple or full" HTML and others allow RTF formatted emails. In
Thunderbird, there is a setting to control this behavior. Claws has a
setting too, which is what I use on my portable.

Servers: Some email servers only send HTML email, when the plain ASCII
text should be included too. This can cause the "empty email" problem.
I've seen this from MS-Exchange and it must be controlled by a setting
since not all MS-Exchange servers do it. It may happen from other
servers too, but I've not seen that.

List Server: It is possible that a listsrv is doing something, but not
likely since we all are seeing each other's content just find.

So, if you'd like to troubleshoot it - try using different email clients
against the same server and changing whether you send formatted, HTML or
plain text content from the client. I suspect you don't have any control
over the server - few of us do, but with your client-side
troubleshooting - and written results - you can contact the email server
admin and let them know of the issue.
