Did that that, if you can get access to YaST, you can go into Software
--> Software Repositories, this is a check box to enable it, uncheck
it, then you should be good to go.

Have you tried SUSE Studio? Need to create a Live CD,  an app you want
to package and distribute , or create your own linux distro. Give SUSE
Studio a try. www.susestudio.com.
