Three of us from ALE attended this meeting. Even though somewhat off
topic, I thought there would be some interest in this, so I'm cross
posting it.

Denise & all other AHRC members,
I would really like to thank you'll for letting my give my
presentation. As you can see I'm very involved and enthusiastic about 3D
printers and Reprap! I would love to come back in 1-2 months to hold
another presentation and possibly go more into depth about the subject.
I also would like to thank Charles for answering the more technical code
problems at the meeting.
In two month We are planning another 3D printer meeting at Freeside
Atlanta (http://wiki.freesideatlanta.org/) Talking to Denise, it might
be possible to hold a little sumo base competition at freeside to 3d
printed and non 3d printed robots alike. So start thinking about your
design!
If anybody is interested in buying parts please contact me at
Robotguy at bellsouth.net. There is two paths you can take building a
Reprap. A- Sourcing all your parts yourself or I will be offering a kit
with everything you will need (Assembly required). With all of my parts
I give a 90 day warranty and will always help you out with any problems.
Reprap has given me so much enjoyment and I want to share my passion
with everybody. I have been working hard on a folding Prusa mendel 3D
printer design and will keep everybody posted on my research. This
machine will have a build area of 250X250X300mm and fold down to
400X400X200mm! BYO3DP ( Bring your own 3d Printer) anybody? I plan to
release all of my files and start selling parts & kits after I have
printed at least 100 hours with no problems.

Thank you!

call on the phone. I get about 300 emails per day from alternate energy
