[ale] C Compiler for Linux

Thanks for chiming in on this gang. I know the topic has strayed some
but the core of it is that I'm looking to take-up C and run with that
regarding Linux.

Yeah - and Apple provides one, including an iPhone simulator. I'm
pretty sure it's all Mac-limited, though.
