Greg,

Actually, GA Poer does have one such setup ~ Milledgeville with Lakes Oconee
& Sinclair where they spin the turbines by day for peak load and refill the
upper lake by night. I suppose they use Buford Dam and Lake Burton(?) for
load balancing somewhat also but neither is refilled other than by nature,
though Burton's output winds up in Lanier eventually but I have no idea of
the flow rate.
