Years ago, I got myself in royal trouble by teaching my wife to change a
tire. She got the flat, and she changed it. She stood a bit straighter for
the abuse. All four children of ours have tire changing skills, as well as
oil, fluids, tire pressure checking, map reading, etc. Plus snow drills.
Unlike a grandparent of mine, I did not require knowledge of how a
differential works, the engine works, or maintaining a battery from my
offspring. We seem to be slipping here...
And to sort of continue the alledged theme of Linus here, all four know
the use of Linux, and have reloaded systems software themselves. FWIW.
