I'm considering upgrading my build as well (roll-yer-own) as usual and
retire this chassis (my current workstation) to a media server role for
ripping and playing movies to our n/w. Since I've gotten more
experience with Nvidia I'm likely to stick with it as I've gotten "used"
to it and what makes it work. SuSE always worked from the beginning but
is not my favorite, Fedora works but Ubuntu takes a lot of coaxing from
my experience. Will continue with Fedora for this new build to come as
it is my preferred distro and seems to offer the best of all worlds I'm
looking for...............R

When you get the whole configuration done, you should post what
components you chose and why to this list (ulterior motive on my

it's about time for me to start thinking about a new setup, and I'm
starting to think about components. Discussion of current state of
the Linux compatible art would be helpful).
