[ale] worker issue

This is a Worker issue:

It's a program Aaron R. introduced me to.

In worker, everything is configured within the program.

For some reason . . .
   "kate file" opens a file in kate
   "vim EDIT" opens a file in vim
   "vim file" seems to malfunction

I want to be able to click on a file and have it open in vim
(rather than kate). I'm hoping a Worker user knows what
I'm missing (or can confirm it's a bug).
