I have windows XP on my desktop, dual-boot with this Debian setup.
It looks like January 2007 was the last time that partition was modified..
maybe I should boot it & do updates. I imagine my anti-virus app is out of
date & probably expired..
I run Virtualbox myself, right now I just have a RedHat server setup in it. I
don't think I got an XP disk with this box, I think there is a rescue
partition, but since I installed linux, I don't think there is a menu to it,
and I'm not sure how or if it is possible to make an XP install disk from it.
This box IS getting old!!!
here is my partition scheme:

/dev/sda1 1 8 64228+ de Dell Utility
/dev/sda2 * 9 13661 109667722 7 HPFS/NTFS
