I'm baffled
$ dd if=/dev/sdd1 of=sdd1
$ mount /dev/sdd1 /mnt
$ cp /tmp/music.mp3 /mnt
$ umount /mnt
$ mount /dev/sdd1 /mnt
$ mplayer /mnt/music.mp3 # works
$ umount /mnt
$ dd if=sdd1 of=/dev/sdd1
$ mount /dev/sdd1 /mnt
$ mplayer /mnt/music.mp3 # corrupt
Now what is weird is that the other files can be played!!!! They were
not corrupted. It is as the mp3 player decided to corrupt music.mp3
