[ale] [ALE-jobs] Fwd: Urgent Job Opening for Linux Administrator in Alpharetta, GA

Me personally: contract until perm gig. I start a perm gig April 5 at GTRI
and will be removing my resume from Monster so the recruiters will quit
calling me (hopefully).

I have seen an uptick in the number of recruiters calling me and I've been
posting more jobs to the ale-jobs list in the past 3 months than in the last
3 years combined. That tells me things are moving but not stable enough for
management to bring in the perms yet.

Is it a wise idea to leave a perm gig for a contract one? If the pay is
better (WAY better - most have no health package worth looking at) and the
perm gig is really crappy. It's a rough process knowing that after 6-9
months you WILL be out of work.
