First I believe being a openSUSE Ambassador is relatively straight forward.

As to the sound issue, I haven't seen many problems with sound in 11.3
if that is what you installed.  But in the past when I've had sound
issues, I've followed the audio troubleshooting guide at:

And you may end up having to open up a bugzilla.

Before that, you may also want to ask on the openSUSE mailing list.
They also have forum, but I'm not very familiar with it.
