[ale] KDE mis-behavior

My first guess would not be a KDE app, but a video driver. That would have
been updated along with the kernel. The fact the Gnome is okay doesn't rule
this out. KDE makes pretty different use of video effects and if you turn on
the extras would drive the video card harder than Gnome. Are there Fedora
user groups where this might be showing up? I'm on Kubuntu here. I'm usually
not the only peron to have a problem with a major update. I check the
Kubuntu forums to see.
