I have no plans to use the support from Oracle. But is VirtualBox-V3.2-PUEL set to performance limitations until you get a license key or something? If not, then my next question is this: If I never buy a license nor migrate away from the PUEL version of VirtualBox and then I want to deploy - say - 100 virtualized servers and we eventually have a site visit that involves an audit of our software, is anyone going to care?

If you are going to use it for servers, get V 3.2, it a lot better
than the OSE, there are a few more bells with it. As far as
networking, use bridge, with the V3.2 all you have to do select which
device you want to use for your bridge, Virtual Box does the reset.

Support, use you are doing something so rare, you can get most of your
support from the net.

Have you tried SUSE Studio? Need to create a Live CD,  an app you want
to package and distribute , or create your own linux distro. Give SUSE
Studio a try. www.susestudio.com.
