Space Invaders, Asteroids, Sea Wolf, Berserk, Frenzy, Time Pilot, Pac Man and Qbert were some of my favorites.  For some reason Donkey Kong never interested me though my co-workers at a hotel where we had the game would spend hours playing it on the night shift.  Dragon's Lair looked interesting in college but there was always an audience and a line so I didn't try it.

Had to love the old CRTs for the arcade games - you'd go to bed still seeing the games due to retinal burn in. 

Now you can get many of the games for PCs or even play them online.  After earlier email I found an online Time Pilot on a quick search but haven't tried it yet since I'm at work.

These days I spend most of my game time at online trivia game sites.  Nice blend of chat and play.
