were it not for shows like Mythbusters and a smattering of stuff on
SciFi the tv would be nothing but a rectangular, electronic IQ
lowering device.

Last night Mythbusters did the ULTIMATE PHYSICS TEST!!! A bullet fired
horizontally will strike the ground at the same time as a bullet
dropped from the same height if dropped at the same time the fired
bullet leaves the muzzle. EXCELLENT!!!!! Used a .45 caliber pistol and
some excellent high-speed photography to show that the physicists are
not lying when they teach 2D kinematics.
