I have the same basic issue/need.. my DSL modem is 192.168.1.254, plugged into
my Cisco WRT160N router, which is 192.168.10 1 . I can get to the routers
admin screen via web, but I cannot connect to the modems admin screen, via
192.168.1.254. Unless I plug the PC directly into the modem, the change my IP
to a DHCP from static IP... PITA...
