(Boxee + (distribution != ubuntu)) = disaster.
I've tried to install it in gentoo following a guide I found on the 
boxee site, still no go.  I have it installed on a spare older machine, 
seems to be pretty slick, wish I could get it to work in gentoo, then 
I'd be golden.  Perhaps in the not so distant future.
