Yes.  But (look at the Subject: line) this is about hardware.  I would
imagine that early in 2008 a lot of people were considering switching
to a Mac instead of buying new hardware for Vista.  The economy surely
put a damper on some of that spending.  While it's true those people
could keep the same hardware and install Linux, there is no motivation
for that as M$ is still supporting XP.
