Exciting and growing company in Duluth has a direct hire, permanent opening
for a Configuration Management Engineer

*SUMMARY: *

The primary responsibility of the CM Engineer is to work with other team
members in development, support, and QA to establish and maintain the source
code control environment. The CM Engineer ensures that all products are
built and released consistently in accordance with an established process.
The CM Engineer will be responsible for development and maintenance of an
automated build process.

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *

Creates a stable and scalable build system, including build scripts, for all
development teams.
Performs and manages all software builds and releases to QA and Production.

Integrates fixes and product enhancements into the code repository

Performs and verifies nightly builds.
Assists in implementing a method for tracking dependencies across
components.



*REQUIRED EDUCATION: *

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent)
required. No exceptions. If you do not have a 4 yr degree, please do not
apply.

*REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: *

Three plus years experience in software engineering/build management
Two plus years experience with Microsoft SourceSafe, CVS, Subversion
Hands on Release Management (a plus)

Two plus years of experience in programming in C, C++, Linux

Must be familiar with NT, UNIX, and Windows environments.

RUP, CMM (a plus)

*KNOWLEDGE & SKILL: *

Working knowledge of Microsoft products as Windows server 2003, SQL server
and network, and electronic tools and software release. Experience in gaming
industry is desired.
