[ale] recommendation for -> USB wireless card for desktop

 I was playing with RTL8187L based wireless USB dongle. The driver was officially included in the kernel tree not so far ago ( 2.6.27 ). Never got stable connection no matter what kind of hacking you try ( like a manually setting of connection speed ). Under Windows XP was pretty god. I would not recommend to pick something based on this chipset.
