[ale] Installing Kubuntu to USB Thumb Drive

Good morning,

I'm trying to install Kubuntu to a USB Thumb Drive so I can boot
into it without disturbing my Windows XP installed on the HD
(it's a work computer and I don't want to screw up the Windows
installation). I followed the instructions and everything looked good
except I'm not sure where to install the boot loaded. By default
it wants to install it in (hd0). But I really don't want to touch the
hard drive in any way shape or form. So where should the boot
loaded go? BTW - the thumb drive sometimes comes up as
/dev/sdb and sometimes /dev/sdc.
