news.individual.net - EUR 10/year (~$16)
news.albasani.net - Free
news.motzarella.org - Free
news.datemas.de - Free
news.tornevall.net - Free

Of these I can only vouch for the first two, and have not actually used 
Individual.net in years. Not since they were totally free and still 
news.fuberlin.de. The aioe.org that JK suggested gets mentioned a lot 
too, not sure why they are not in this list.
