IMHO.
jobs.perl.org  (and its clone jobs.rubynow.com) are great approaches.
I have the choice of the the RSS, email or search. mailing lists are
great for threaded messages .
My only complaints about these sites are:
1. jobs.perl.org should list the city first in the subject lines for email.
2. jobs.rubynow.com seems buggy. (Do a search for atlanta and see the
date ordering.  Strange no new jobs in atlanta in a year.  Either that
or 'next page ' is broken)
