[ale] OT: anyone see this video? How did they do it?

Every couple of years the "cell phones cause cancer" story resurfaces.
That - despite never having any conclusive studies showing any link
between cell phones and cancer of course.

It always makes me think of the refrain from an old song about Space
Invaders (yes someone wrote a song about it):

"He's hooked, he's hooked
His brain is cooked"

For that particular video, the popcorn effect was achieved by dropping
already-popped corn into the scene during filming, then using digital
editing to remove the kernels from the table.

Another way to do this is to remove the cooking mechanism from a
microwave
oven, mount it under the table, then use it to pop the popcorn.

Regardless, it's a fake.
