[ale] Recommendations on inexpensive handheld

Thank you all.  I'd been looking at the Nokia 770, so this just confirms
that choice.  I've considered devices like the Palm that Paul suggested, but
I don't need a phone, so I'd be buying one without a contract, and the price
without one exceeds the wife acceptance factor!

I was hoping that I'd be able to find something in the $50 range.  I knew
that would mean something older (which is fine), but nothing that I'm seeing
in that range includes the wifi card.  By the time I buy the card I could
have a nearly new 770, which looks to be a great choice.

So now I just need to save a few more pennies!
