[ale] OT: Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD

My DVD player only puts out 480p with components.  I can get some nice
720p out here, but since My antenna is pointing straight into a
thicket of 100'+ trees and I'm 30 miles from the nearest transmitter,
my signal is somewhat compromised.  Plus I built my antenna myself out
of some kids furniture and a 2x4.  But It's got 4 bowties and a 20db
gain, so it's not half bad.

I noticed a serious drop in signal quality since the spring filled in
the forest.  Ah well.  I still refuse to pay for TV.
