"The South" encompasses a lot of territory. If you spend more time ITP
(inside the perimeter) you would see that ATL is nothing like the state
of Georgia, nor the "The South".
Atlanta, proper, has much more to offer than the stereotypical South.
One can easily tell that the vast majority of Atlanta's 500,000
residents (that's right, the city only has ~500,000 residents... the
other 4.5M are hanger-oners with commuting problems) weren't born and
raised here... and Atlantan's don't carry on much about the South's
stereotypical nuances, relics, and other issues.
